An avid ambassador for WA music, Dan has over 15 years of professional experience in the music and entertainment industry after growing up with a guitar in hand and performing regularly since 11 years of age.With a solid background in songwriting, live performance, studio recording and production, live audio, bookings, marketing and tour management, Dan has 1500+ shows and 8 records to his name, having supported acts such as Xavier Rudd, The Cat Empire, San Cisco and many more in his time. Dan currently performs with alt-RnB 4-piece Brightsider and folk duo Moon & Honey.
Applying his managerial and organisational skills outside of his musical projects has seen Dan work behind the scenes on many events, and he has been Director of The West Australian Guitar Festival since 2019 along with sharing his experience as part of panels and presentations for industry bodies such as APRA/AMCOS, WA Music and more.
Beyond music, Dan enjoys graphic & web design, photography after starting out on rolls of film whilst touring, and loves sports - surfing in particular, which is one of the things that drew him to Margaret River in 2014.
A music lover at heart and always up for a laugh, Dan also hosts Local Produce on Radio Margaret River every Thursday 4-5pm.
