The Royal Free London – Private Patients Unit was established in the 1980’s and has a rich history of providing quality clinical care to our patients. We boast world class consultants from the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust who are leaders in their field combined with our comprehensive clinical service offering across our dedicated private facilities. We can do this and still provide a high quality service for you because one of the best places in the world to run a clinical service, surrounded by the specialist facilities, workforce, and backup support of a major London teaching hospital is the Royal Free.
As a teaching hospital we thrive to support our local GPs/clinical team with continuous CME education programmes via the arrangement of various face-to-face education meetings, in-house GP surgery meetings, online webinars, seminars and BLS Adult/Paediatric AED courses throughout the year.
This course is designed to provide attendees with the essential skills required to administer prompt and effective basic life support and acquire the skill to be able to utilise an AED safely in emergency situations. The course will be delivered face to face with 85% practical, each learner is given a first aid manual for further reading.

Choking
Anaphylaxis
Adult BLS
Mark Doree served in the Royal Engineers and the Royal Army Physical Training Corps; leaving the British Army as one of the highest ranked Senior Non-Commissioned Officers with 25 years’ experience.
The qualification and learning outcomes are aligned with the CSTF (Core Skills Training
Framework) as well as the UK Resus Council Guidelines 2021, CPD registered and qualifies the learner for one year. Certification would be provided after the event.
