About this Event
Making their DC debut at the Smithsonian, the social media sensation Dearly Blossom and her band the Shrub-Tones will be launching Jazz Appreciation Month with a dazzling live performance followed by a Q&A session!
Central Park’s own Blossom Dearly (@dearlyblossom) is a pink, fluffy, singing cherry blossom whose scatting mastery and endearing, animated personality has captivated social media users of all ages. When not imitating the incredible complexities of Charlie Parker’s bebop saxophone lines with ease and belting the blues in jam sessions with today’s living jazz legends and rising stars, Blossom loves to share her knowledge of jazz history with her followers—who proudly call themselves her “Petals.”
No Petal is too young or too old to enjoy Blossom & The Shrub-Tones!
