The goal of the Bloomington Sex Salon is to foster campus-community conversations about sexuality topics. Our guests are sexuality researchers, educators, artists, and advocates.
This month's guest - Dr. Grace Wetzel - is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University's School of Public Health. She will be discussing her body of research on women's pleasure, the pursuit of orgasm equity (she's published several studies related to orgasm gaps), and the role gender plays in shaping our experiences of sexuality.
If you're new to the Bloomington Sex Salon, here's what you can expect:
- It's free and for ages 18+ so do bring your ID.
- The event starts on time at 7pm - please arrive early to grab a drink and a seat.
- The host (Dr. Debby Herbenick) will interview our guest for the first 30-40 minutes and then we'll move on to audience Q&A so bring your questions and curiosity!
- We'll end between 8 and 8:15. You're welcome to hang out afterwards to drink and socialize.
We hope to see you on Thursday April 16!
