The BLOOM BAR is a creative workshop open to all ages and talents. Join us in celebrating SPRING and build your very own sculptural bouquet to last a lifetime. Select your white acrylic flower stems + use paint pens to create one•of•a•kind designs. Display your everlasting stems in a vase, add a mini-magnet to the backs for a fun accessory, or frame them in a shadow box as a beautiful piece of art for your walls. Get tips and tricks from our local artist, Anna Bett Weatherford, who uses acrylic to bring her creative designs to life.

BLOOM BAR is a creative collaboration between local Beaufort artist, Anna Bett Weatherford, and the Freedman Arts District • a partnership inspired by community and rooted in creativity.
Through the Bloom Bar workshop, Anna Bett invites us into the creative process with her playful acrylic flowers, designed to be painted + curated into a sculptural bouquet that will last through all seasons of life. This interactive experience offers a fun way for guests of all ages to explore different mediums, experiment with color, and design a piece of art that is uniquely their own.
Every bloom supports the mission of Freedman Arts District — expanding arts education, preserving cultural heritage, and strengthening Beaufort through the arts. At its heart, Bloom Bar is an opportunity to connect with friends, loved ones, and our community - to celebrate the beauty of spring, the freedom of creativity, and the artful moments that blossom into lasting memories.
