The return of the Bloody Blue Darlings to the Dakota Tavern! Joining the band are Hysterics and Starship Enterprise, filling out a night featuring a range of music genres and styles, from goth rock to punk to country to grunge to garage rock – something for all! As an added bonus, Starship Experience will be performing a busker set outside the Dakota Tavern around the time doors open at 10pm.
About the bands
BLOODY BLUE DARLINGS (@darlingsbloodyblue) are a 5-piece goth-punk band (or punk-goth band) and is best described as the bastard three-way love child of Mark Bolan, Peter Murphy, and Lux Interior. The music fuses the dark, introspective themes of gothic rock with the raw energy of punk rock, and embodies a blend of emotional intensity, sonic experimentation, and a provocative visual identity. Simply put, a decent way to spend an evening.
This fall, Bloody Blue Darlings will be releasing their upcoming EP, Solitary Knife Fight.

HYSTERICS (@hystericsband) are a three-piece grunge-punk band, whose sound is reminiscent of the early 90s. Hysterics manages to combine a whirlwind of influences, both vintage and modern. Crunchy, hard-hitting, and heavily distorted, Hysterics' sonic friction conducts chaos in every crowd, making it impossible to ignore their passion and rage.
Hysterics released their latest EP Hormones in May 2023.

STARSHIP EXPERIENCE (@starshipexperience) is an unorthodox garage-rock band founded by Jesse Seberras (vocalist, songwriter) and Shawn Hook-Carleton (drummer, producer) on the belief that this planet has had enough of overpolished, overproduced crap, and is ready for some simple, straightforward crap instead. A high-energy band with influences as varied as Electric Six, Mindless Self Indulgence, Busdriver, Gogol Bordello, Randy Newman, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Mighty Boosh.
