The Virgo Blood Moon Eclipse is a powerful spiritual event focused on adjustment, correction, and heightened awareness, bringing to light what has been tolerated out of habit or ignored for too long. It serves as a call to refine and align one’s life with greater integrity, encouraging a hard look at what is working and what needs improvement in areas such as work, relationships, and spiritual practices.
Blood Moons are connected with the feminine and the cycle of death and rebirth. We may find something falls away or that we have reached a significant culmination point. Blood Moon Eclipses are the most potent kind we can experience, and are a good opportunity to practice the art of surrender. This is not a time to control, but rather to let go and allow the Universe to guide us.
This stunning celestial event happens when Earth aligns between the Sun and Moon, causing the Moon to pass into Earth's shadow. As sunlight filters through Earth's atmosphere, the Moon transforms into red, orange, and pink shades. Lunar eclipses are highly charged events and cause us to face truths, uncover our feelings, and make meaningful and long-lasting decisions. Even if you can’t see an eclipse from your location on Earth, its energy is still accessible.
The energetic effect of an eclipse often brings a “crisis moment” that pushes us out of our comfort zones and forces us to see life in a new way, which often leads to beginning and ending important chapters of our lives within a short amount of time.
We will work with the eclipse and the Goddess Yemanya/Yemaya of the Ocean. As a motherly figure, she is deeply protective and nurturing. She comforts us and cleanse us of our troubles. It is with this energy we will walk the Labyrinth.
Ask yourself, “what is working in your life?”, and honestly reflect on what is not working. Think about the practical areas of your life such as health, work, routines, and responsibility. What needs closure, forgiveness or spiritual insight?
You will be asked to think on what you want to surrender, to let go of, for your own self-care, for boundaries, for healing, to Yemanja, to Spirit. If you do not wish to share this within the circle, just place your hand on your heart and we will move to the next person. To raise energy for our pre walk ceremony, please practice and memorise the chant below.

Please Note:
On your walk to the beach pick up a shell, leaf or beach rock you are drawn to and bring it with you. Factor this into joining us on the beach so you can be on time.
Keep in mind that we meet on a public beach. We gather to share energy and intention with an open heart. This is a great opportunity to practice being in a high vibration bubble of awareness and leave the outside world behind
A labyrinth is transformative walk which can transmute one state of being to that of another which is of a higher vibration. Unlike a maze it has only one path that leads from the outer edge in a circular way to the centre. It’s an energetic spiritual process that can help you find answers to questions, clear energetic blocks or reconnect to your creativity.
This is a FREE event. Please arrive on time. We gather to set our intention together before entering the Labyrinth. This is for collective energy as well as to support your own energetic focus. Labyrinths are a spiritual practice. Missing this phase means the walk is simply entertainment. This will be the last evening labyrinth walk until daylight saving returns. morning and afternoon offerings will be held in the interim.
Directions: Picnic Point Beach. Drive in at the Ulverstone Tennis Club end - Westshore Road via Moore Street. You will pass public toilets to park in front of the children's playground. Enter the beach from the path/walkway near the BBQ.

How do you recognise or acknowledge Sacred Space when attending a Spiritual gathering or ceremony? A Labyrinth in its entirety is Sacred Space. Walking across the lines can disrupt the energy that is being harnessed in its construction. Walking through the middle of the circle disrupts its energy.
Listen to the instructions from the facilitator. They will usually have clear directions for before, during and after a ceremony. If you are unsure how to take part respectfully ask to facilitator ahead of time. You will find they are very happy to set your mind at ease for you to be as comfortable as possible and to receive the most from your experience.
