How It Works
Wood block printing is a technique where hand-carved wooden blocks are stamped onto paper to create repeat patterns.
You'll choose from a collection of hand-carved blocks, learn how to build pattern, and then print across your full stationery set. Feeling! Magazine's Jenna O'Brien will guide you through letter-writing prompts to pair with your designs, so you'll leave not just with stationery, but with something worth writing inside it.
About Your Hosts
Amy Philip runs BLOK PARTI by JOYN and hosts block printing workshops across NYC. Stockists have included Nordstrom, Free People, Uncommon Goods, and SF MOMA.
Jenna O'Brien is the author and designer behind Feeling! Magazine, a best-selling Substack publication on design and joy. She previously owned a brick-and-mortar stationery store and has collaborated with Herman Miller, Squarespace, Graza, and Apartment Therapy.
