About this Event
Blauvelt’s Banks is a two-day grassroots banked slalom snowboard and snowskate event that brings together riders of all ages and abilities for fast laps, big energy, and classic community vibes at the Timberline Lodge at Bolton Valley.
The weekend features DJ-fueled base area energy, cheering spectators, vendor tents, raffles, awards, and plenty of après. Saturday gives every registered rider one timed run, with the top half of each category advancing to Sunday for two final runs to determine podiums.
Competition categories include Open / Pro Men’s*, Open / Pro Women’s*, AM Men’s, AM Women’s, Legends Men (45+), Legends Women (45+), Grom Boys (12 & under), Grom Girls (12 & under), and Open Snowskate, welcoming everyone from first-time racers to seasoned vets.
Registration spots are limited, and the event is capped to keep things running smoothly and fun for riders and spectators alike.
Each registration includes lift tickets for both days, with riding available 9am–10pm on Saturday under the lights and 9am–4pm on Sunday.
Day 1 – Saturday (March 14)
7:30–9:00 AM: Registration open
9:00 AM: Course practice runs
10:15 AM: Riders meeting at the top of the course
11:00 AM–3:00 PM: Competition runs (one run per participant)
Top half of each division qualifies for Sunday finals.
Day 2 – Sunday (March 15)
7:30–9:00 AM: Timing chip pickup and board waxing
9:00–10:30 AM: Practice runs
10:45 AM–12:30 PM: Round 1 finals runs
12:30–1:00 PM: Break
1:00–3:00 PM: Round 2 finals runs
3:15 PM+: Awards ceremony, closing remarks, and après
