The BLIND LADY 16th Anniversary CAPE RUN is Saturday, February 8th.
THREE teams.
THREE routes.
120 Capes.
Everyone ending back at BLAH.
THIS IS A 21 & UP EVENT
NO DOGS/PETS ALLOWED
KNOW YOUR LIMITS AND DRINK RESPONSIBLY
1/2 POURS AND WATERS ARE ENCOURAGED

THERE ARE (3) TEAMS, EACH WITH THEIR OWN DISTANCES (WALK SHORT OR RUN MEDIUM OR RUN LONG) THIS YEAR:
WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE?

THE LONG RUN = Approx. 7 MILES
WILDEBEESTS - White
The Wildebeests will run to a farther location that will add approximately three more miles to the run for a total of approx 7 miles! We won't be running faster (we still want you to run together and stop at the secret stops) -- just longer.

THE STANDARD RUN = 4 MILES
JACKALOPES
If you choose to run with the Jackalopes you will be running our OG distance of approx 4 miles.
50 JACKALOPE TICKETS (Wear ALL Red )

THE WALK = 2+ MILES

You hate running but you love capes? Maybe you’ve walked it previous years, with no intention of catching up.
Your route will only be a little over two miles. Feel free to walk at your own pace but if you stay with your Leader there may be some extra treats along the way.

So what is this thing again?
We gather late morning at BLAH to run, jog or walk with a large group of new and old friends to three of our favorite watering holes, drinking in a beer (or not) at each spot, and running, jogging, or walking back to BLAH at the very end. You do all this while you wear a cape of your own making.
Why?
Because Capes are awesome. Running around the neighborhood is awesome. Beer is awesome. Friends are awesome. And we need some more awesome in our lives.
For the ticket price of $60 you receive:
A cool map running bib with tickets for FOUR beers along your route and this includes a tip for the Bartenders.
As always there may or may not be bonus snacks and treats along the way! (Priceless!)

Reminders:
•• We want you to run with your group, at least to the first official stop because the Team Leaders may or may not (or may) have some extra spots along the way.
•• Be Safe- news flash! Cars can really hurt people if the two come into contact. So cross at crosswalks with lights and stay on the sidewalk.
•• Be Kind - drinking can make us a little more foolhardy, or worse. This is a fun, weird wonky event and we want everyone to be kind to their bartenders, kind to the other runners, kind to strangers on the street, just kind all day, all time.
•• Please stick to beer (or water.) In other words, please no shots of hard liquor if it is available at any of the spots.
•• You will still sign a waiver because you're a grown ass adult.
This SELLS OUT so don't wait too long.

Remember, this is not a race and there is no prize for finishing first.
