Blades in the Dark | 2-Session Story Arc Experience

Session Dates (Sundays, 12:30 - 4 PM): January 18th & February 1st.

Overview: Whether you're a seasoned gamer or new to the world of Tabletop Role Playing Games (TTRPGs), this event offers something for everyone. Come solo or with friends and immerse yourself in an adventure. Our events are a great way to connect with members of local communities and are also perfect for folks arriving in Toronto looking to make new friends.

How to Register: To save on Eventbrite fees and connect directly to organize,

Step 1: Please RSVP for your spot using Eventbrite’s ticket sale options.

Step 2: A representative from Changeling Gaming will be in touch to assist with the booking. RSVPs using Eventbrite are only for starting the reservation and do not confirm your official attendance.

Step 3: Once payment has been sent to Changeling, will your booking be finalized. You will then receive access to a private channel in the Changeling Discord with your fellow adventurers and the GM to plan your game.

?: Is a TTRPG about a crew of daring scoundrels seeking their fortunes on the haunted streets of an industrial-fantasy city. There are heists, chases, occult mysteries, dangerous bargains, bloody skirmishes, and, above all, riches to be had — if you’re bold enough to seize them.

What is an Arc?: It is a complete story within the same world, using ongoing characters, that will take place over a number of gameplay sessions. At the end of the arc, players will have the chance to renew for the next arc, continuing the adventure into another set of session dates.

General Admission Tickets:

• Tickets are priced and sold per person with Eventbrite fees excluded.
• Tickets to this event include a private room for you and your fellow adventurers, access to the Left Field Brewery food & drinks menu, one of our expert Dungeon Masters to run a full how-to-play (if any new players are in attendance) and an immersive playthrough series with accompanying music and visual story aids.

Changeling Membership Admission: Our Changeling Membership helps players save monthly, and includes event discounts on community tickets and advance sales for our special events. Each Membership ticket must have a single corresponding Patreon subscription. Proof of subscription will be required at the door.

Note: Temporary passes do not qualify for a discount for this arc series.

Game Master (GM): Angus @gamewithbeef

Player Experience: Any! - Little to no experience with the game, or looking to build confidence, or just have fun!

Character Level: Players will have the option to use pre-set characters provided by the GM to help support new players learning. Or, may work with the GM to create their own characters for the adventure.

Equipment:

• We will provide paper, pencils, and of course, dice for you to borrow.
• Please bring with you anything else you feel you will need to keep yourself organized or will bring joy during the game.

Info: When the story opportunity arises, there will be a short bio-break sometime in between 12:30 - 4PM. Game length may vary, but the game will end at or before 4 PM.
