This one-day digital retreat is an intentional space for women to connect, share, and grow. Each session has been thoughtfully crafted to provide impactful insights and meaningful dialogue, led by an incredible lineup of speakers.
Opening Circle (Session 1): Human Emotion in Detail

Hosted by: Nelma Karina Sumbe
Nelma will lead the retreat’s opening session, setting the tone for a day of connection, reflection, and growth. As a global changemaker, Nelma specializes in creating spaces where women feel seen, heard, and empowered. This opening circle will guide attendees into a shared space of sisterhood and intention, laying the foundation for the transformative sessions ahead.
Session 2: Grounding Together in Wellness
Time: 11:30 AM–12:15 PM CST
Hosted by: Nomakhosi Ndebele
This session explores the importance of balance and wellness for women leading in both personal and professional spaces. Nomakhosi, a wellness advocate and visionary leader, will guide participants through grounding techniques such as breathwork and visualization. Attendees will leave with practical strategies for cultivating resilience and intentional calm in their daily lives.
Session 3: A Conversation About the Art of Balance in Social Impact Work
Time: 12:30 PM–1:15 PM CST
Hosted by: Anisett Jacques-Willis and Anjelika Perry
This session is designed to address the nuanced challenges of maintaining balance while working toward social impact goals. Anisett, a community wellness advocate, and Anjelika, a creative empowerment strategist, will lead a reflective dialogue on avoiding burnout, prioritizing self-care, and staying deeply aligned with one’s purpose. Attendees will gain tools to create intentional boundaries and thrive in both their professional and personal missions.
Lunch Break & Journaling Reflection
Time: 1:15 PM–2:15 PM CST
This one-hour break offers participants time to recharge, reflect, and connect with others in a relaxed environment. Attendees are encouraged to use this time to explore journaling prompts from the attendee toolkit, focusing on self-awareness, personal growth, and setting intentions for the remainder of the day.
Session 4: Conflict Resolution Strategies for Entrepreneurs
Time: 2:15 PM–3:00 PM CST
Hosted by: Monica Cadena
Entrepreneurs face unique challenges when navigating conflicts, especially in collaborative spaces. Monica, a global change advocate and expert in empathy-driven leadership, will guide participants through strategies for resolving conflicts with clarity and care. This workshop equips attendees with actionable tools to approach disagreements constructively, strengthening their relationships and business outcomes.
Session 5: Visioning Workshop: Purpose, Alignment, and Serving the Collective

Hosted by: Samya Abdela
Samya, a travel content creator and purpose-driven entrepreneur, will host this interactive workshop, inviting participants to align their entrepreneurial efforts with a broader sense of service to their communities. Through reflective exercises and purposeful discussion, attendees will uncover how their unique visions can create meaningful impact, both locally and globally.
Session 6: Collaboration in Business: Working in Community

Closing Circle (Session 7): Reflecting and Moving Forward Together

Anjelika will guide the final session of the retreat, creating a space for reflection and connection as the day concludes.
