The International Club of DC, in gracious partnership with the International Student House, cordially invites you to a magnificent Black Tie & Boots Ball in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States. Experience an elegant and exciting evening of live music, dancing, and celebration set within one of Washington’s most distinguished and historic mansions in the heart of Dupont Circle.
Step into a festive and refined atmosphere where black-tie style meets a hint of spirited country flair, and enjoy a memorable night of music, dancing, and conversation with a welcoming group of internationally minded professionals, diplomats, and guests from across Washington.

New to dancing? We’ve got you covered. The evening begins with a fun and easy introductory lesson in swing and two-step, followed by dancing the night away to a live band. No partner or prior dance experience is needed. We’ll have you out on the dance floor in no time, even if it’s your first time!

The evening continues with a live band performing a vibrant mix of American favorites and swing classics, creating a lively and festive atmosphere on the dance floor. Dance the night away or simply enjoy the music with friends!
Historic Meserve-Lloyd House
Set in the historic Meserve-Lloyd House, a Tudor-style mansion built in 1912, the evening unfolds in a richly elegant setting defined by leaded-glass windows, grand fireplaces, and finely detailed interiors that evoke the charm of a bygone era.
