About this Event
If you are a bit new to the Seattle area, you've probably noticed that it takes some intentionality to connect with other Black people. We got you. Hey, Black Seattle exists to connect Black folks to Black community and cultural experiences. Leave the house for a moment and meet some other Black folks.
Each meetup includes a bit of local history and a visit to nearby Black-owned shops to help you get in the know about this beautiful place you now call home.
And...even if you have been here for a while, just come out and be Black with us while we continue to take up space and support each other here in the Emerald City.
Our April 2024 session will happen in the heart of the Central District, the city of Seattle's historic Black neighborhood. We will met at Madespace Seattle and (weather permitting) we'll head out to check out local art and shops in Midtown Square.
