About this Event

Black Masculinity (Re)Imagined Presets: an In-Person Leadership Training in Atlanta. The event will explore tools, strategies, and practices to help Black men and masculine folks heal, support each other, and address wellness in their communities. This program invites Black men and masculine folks to challenge the myth that constant hustle defines strength. We will create space to address generational patterns of overwork and burnout, as well as the cultural and historical roots of the "always on" mentality in Black communities. In addition, we will explore practical strategies to incorporate stillness and rest into your daily routine. Participants will also get a moment of pause with a movement practice followed by a sound bath.

In this space we will work to redefine strength and remember why rest is a power move, not a weakness. Youth are welcome! This session will be lead by Shawn J. Moore and Daniel Edwards
