Black Masculinity (Re)imagined Presents: Reclaiming Joy - A Day of Power & Peace
How do we expand the ways we see, feel, and live Black masculinity? How do we create space for vulnerability, healing, and connection across generations?
Join BEAM in Atlanta for an intergenerational gathering centering Black men and Black masculine folks of all genders. Together, we’ll explore the narratives that shape how we experience masculinity — and imagine new ones rooted in care, accountability, and liberation.
Through dialogue, storytelling, and interactive activities, participants will:
- Connect across ages and life experiences to share wisdom and learn from one another.
- Examine how societal expectations impact our mental, emotional, and relational health.
- Practice tools for emotional intelligence, communication, and healing in our personal and collective lives.
This is a space to honor the fullness of Black masculinity, challenge harmful norms, and build a community that supports all of who we are.
Join us for a transformative day dedicated to Black men and masculine folks, where fun meets healing, and wellness meets community. This immersive experience is all about tapping into the power of play, movement, and cultural connection as tools for mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Whether you're looking to unwind or sharpen your mental wellness toolkit, this day is for you. 🖤 All Black men and masculine folks are welcome—cis, trans, and non-binary.
Who can come? Black men, boys, masculine of center folks, Trans folks, non-binary folks. Black women, and femme folks are also welcome. This conversation will center Black men/masculine folk.
Where's the summit taking place? The BMR Summit will be at The West Side Warehouse in Atlanta. We will share more information about the venue in the coming weeks.
