About this Event
Every day, the Office of the Public Advocate collaborates with countless New Yorkers to promote social change across our city. Their individual altruistic efforts are essential in amplifying our shared mission and our common goal of ensuring that all New York city residents are treated with dignity.
Our annual Black History Month celebration will be a meaningful opportunity to highlight the achievements of several of these partners.
2026 marks a century of national commemorations of Black history.
This event will be hosted in partnership with the Offices of the:
- Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso
- Bronx Borough President Vanessa L. Gibson
- Manhattan Borough President Brad Hoylman-Sigal
