About this Event
Join us for an important health conversastion. This conversation is created to talk about health research with local Black/African American communities. In the past, because of the historical lack of access to health care and mistrust of research, these communities have been reluctant to participate in research. This program will talk about these past wrongs. It will also talk about the need for diversity in genomic research. This faith-based initiative seeks to build partnerships to help improve the health of communities for generations to come.
