Black Family Day: Celebrating Ancestry, Wellness & Unity
Black Family Day SV crowns African and African Ancestry Month in Silicon Valley—a free, vibrant public celebration of our rich heritage, health, and wellness.
Held yearly at Parque de los Pobladores, it unites families through infectious laughter, high-fives, and tender moments like parents strolling with children and babies in arms, embodying the pure love and celebratory spirit of African ancestry. Produced by Silicon Valley African Film Festival (SVAFF) and presented by Black Leadership Kitchen Cabinet (BLKC), the event spotlights vital wellness resources within Santa Clara County's vibrant diversity.
It offers a phenomenal chance to gather our community, rejoice in health and mutual upliftment, echoing the beauty of shared joy and resilient bonds. Join on 28 February 2026 for profound connection, empowerment, and celebration.
