Welcome to Our Online Creative Writing Workshop!
Join us for a unique opportunity to explore and celebrate the intersection of Black identity and disability through the power of storytelling. This workshop is part of our ongoing anthology series, where we aim to amplify the voices and experiences of Black individuals with disabilities.
Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this workshop is open to all levels of experience. You can register for as many workshops as you like—each session offers a fresh space to share your stories, connect with fellow writers, and help us build a more inclusive community.
Special Session Alert!
Our April 12th workshop will feature a mental health professional who will host a special Community Healing Space. This session is designed to offer support, reflection, and collective healing in a safe, nurturing environment.

Creative Writing Sessions
Info: Breakout Rooms: Writing Room, Visioning Room, and General Community Space. Writing Room, where you will be spending your time writing your submissions in company of other community members. In our "writing room", you will write more independently in a quiet space but will be able to still remain in community with other Black disabled people. Our Visioning Room, is a space for those who needs more assistance in finding the best way to tell their story. This room is more interactive and aims to help our community members find their writing style and convey their lived experience. Our General Community Space, will serve as our local town square! This is where you can come to just be in community and share your stories with other Black disabled people. We are organizing this room to simply embrace one another.
