Best known as the frontman of North Carolina alt-country powerhouse American Aquarium, Barham has spent his career crafting rugged, soulful roots rock in the tradition of Whiskeytown and Drive-By Truckers. A native of Reidsville, North Carolina, he formed American Aquarium in 2005 and, over the next decade, helped build the band from regional favorites into an internationally respected name in Americana and alt-country.
Stripped down and up close, these shows offer a rare chance to hear BJ’s songs the way they were written—personal, powerful, and straight from the heart.
