Kevin Gildea

Kevin has gigged all over Britain and Ireland and the rest of the known world – from Singapore to Sligo. He's headlined gigs in Johannesburg and Cape Town and regularly plays all the major comedy festivals in Ireland – The Electric Picnic, ATN, The Paddy Power Comedy Festival in the Iveagh Gardens, The Galway Comedy Festival, Kilkenomics and etc. He is a regular at The Edinburgh Comedy Festival.
Kevin has also performed at The Edinburgh festival with his comedy band 'THE KEVIN GILDEAS' which received rave reviews:

He supported Reg D Hunter on his Irish tour and did some supports slots on his English tour.
He is a founder member of Dublin's famous Comedy Cellar with Mr. Trellis.
He was a writer and performer on RTE TV's satirical comedy show Irish Pictorial Weekly.
Kevin acted in RTE TV's Bridget and Eamonn and was Fr Cave in Fr. Ted (the one on the aeroplane). He has written for Alexei Sayle's TV show.
Kevin regularly performs Improv with The Dublin Comedy Improv - the longest running, and best, Irish Improv group.
He has performed his show Silly Stories and Stand-Up Comedy for Kidz to kids all over Ireland.

Kevin wrote and performed in the short film 'No No No' which was nominated for an Irish Film and Television Award.
He wrote and performed in the very short Irish Film Board film “The Invention of the Lightbulb.” and starred in the feature film 'Seperation Anxiety' as well as appearing in the feature ‘The Crooked Mile’.
He's just finished acting in a lovely new short film 'Lift.'
Kevin is an award winning playwright, short story writer (RTE and The Winter Papers), actor and book reviewer (Irish Times). He has performed a regular radio column for RTE's Arena. He's just finished a novel.
He has nearly 30 years experience as a writer and performer: he has acted onstage, on radio, (BBC4) on TV (BBC 2, RTE) and on Film; he has also written for all – plays, stand-up, songs, sketches.
On The Works TV art's show he interviewed Terry Gilliam, Eddie Izzard, Will Self and Kermit the Frog. Live he has interviewed Paul Howard, Eoin Colfer, Maeve Higgins, Jon Ronson and Nell Zink.
Sophia Wren
“So You Think You’re Funny”, Edinburgh finalist 2024.
Sophia Wren began performing stand-up just last year and within 12 months she has shared the bill with Deirdre O’Kane and Justine Stafford at Funny Women on Whelan’s main stage, opened for Stephen Mullan (Ouch and Yeah, Yeah, Yeah), and performed as part of Dalkey comedy Festival.
She was the winner of “Show Me The Funny" in 2024 and was a finalist in Bray Comedy Festival’s ‘Best New Act’ competition, as well as performing regularly in all of Dublin’s Comedy clubs.
Most recently she performed a WIP of her debut solo show ‘Princess Melancholy’, as part of Scene + Heard Festival of New Work 2024. Sophia plans to develop this into a full hour which she can bring to Edinburgh Fringe and Dublin Fringe and beyond.
Darren Gaffney
Darren is a comedian hailing from County Cavan - unlike most Cavan men he can attest he no longer has his Communion money. Darren is making his way up through the Irish comedy scene having performed at most of the top clubs in the country. He has also performed in cities acoss the UK. You can find him gigging around the clubs in Dublin on a weekly basis, or in clubs all around the country. He attended Edinburgh Fringe 2024 where he headlined gigs for the first time.
He started his own comedy club 'Bite The Bullet Comedy' in 2024, which has gone from strength to strength since the first show in back in May '24. Darren MC's the show and plans to continue to grow and develop the club.
He is also the man behind the successful ‘The Gaff Cast’ podcast in which he discusses the issues of the day in a humorous and lighthearted tone.
