About this Event
Join the Bismarck-Mandan Civic Chorus for a presentation of its spring concert titled “The Road Home” on April 25 at 7:30 p.m. at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. The event will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States through folk songs, traditional cultural music, and songs composed using texts by North Dakota pioneer women to celebrate North Dakota’s heritage. Music will include traditional folk songs, songs representing the diverse cultural heritage of North Dakota’s people, and selections with poetry by North Dakota pioneer women. Artistic partners will include participants in BMCC's annual art contest, Jubilate! Of Central Dakota Children’s Choir, the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra and Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra. Tickets are $20 general admission, $10 for seniors and $5 for students in grades one through college and can be purchased at www.bismancivicchorus.com or at the door the day of the show.
