Birth Partner Coaching Night

Join us in the heart of Mission Hills at Radiance Yoga for a practical, supportive night designed for you and your partner to feel prepared, connected, and calm as birth approaches.

This is not a lecture—and it’s not a yoga class.
It’s a hands-on, real-life guide to what actually helps during labor.

❤️ A relaxed, welcoming space for couples

Together you’ll learn simple, effective tools your partner can use to support you through contractions—breathing cues, comfort measures, positioning, and communication—so birth day feels less uncertain and more like a team experience.

3:00 PM – Arrival + Grounding (15 min)

• Settle in and get comfortable
• Meet other couples
• Gentle breath to arrive and connect
• Intention setting for your birth as a team

3:15 PM – Partner Birth Coaching (90 min)

• The hormones that power birth — and how to create a space where labor flows
• Refaming pain so intensity feels purposeful, not scary
• Overview of the stages of labor and specific movements to support baby’s descent and rotation
• What to do if labor stalls
• Hands-on comfort tools: counterpressure, hip squeezes, sacral support & jiggle
• Breath, touch, and communication skills to stay calm and connected as a team

5:45 PM – Rest + Integration (15 min)

• Short guided relaxation for mom
• Grounding breath for partners
• Time to ask questions and connect before heading home

Please arrive 10 minutes beforehand.

We will be using a birth ball and a long scarf during class. If you have your own, it’s best to bring them so you can become familiar with using the same tools at home for your birth.
