About this Event
The Bird Promenade is a temporary public art project, being held June 9-21st, 2026 at four concurrent locations around JP. This series of installations by local artist Lu Valena is made possible by an Opportunity Fund Grant from the Mayor's Office of Arts and Culture.
In lieu of a closing reception, we're doing a birdwalk! Wear something colorful and comfortable (bird-themed outfits for bonus points), and good walking shoes.
We will meet outside Green Street station and then walk the full Bird Promenade route, stopping briefly at each installation and admiring other pretty things along the way. The route is about 1.65 miles -- you can see the full route here.
