Open House event for STEM educators!
Join us on Sunday, January 11th, 2026 at our Oakland warehouse. We invite all STEM educators to collect lab supplies, for your accredited school - at no cost to you.
Title I Teachers: Early Entry starting at 11 am is reserved exclusively for teachers from Title I K-12 schools.
All educators are welcome starting from 1 pm until 3pm. Please email our team at [email protected] if you encounter issues registering on this page.
Educational nonprofits & community labs: Please email us at [email protected] for pre-approval to participate in our Open Houses.
REQUIREMENTS / DETAILS
Only educators and academic researchers from accredited institutions and their assistants can register for the event.
- All attendees must be pre-registered to attend. PLEASE ONLY REGISTER IF YOU PLAN TO ATTEND!
- You may bring one assistant with you.
- If you register and then cannot make it, please cancel your ticket to allow room for another STEM educator.
- All attendees must be from an accredited institution and must present an institution-issued photo ID or recent letter from your institution to check in.
- Children under 13 years of age are not allowed due to safety requirements.
- Please wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for an industrial warehouse.
- Facemasks are recommended inside the warehouse for everyone's protection.
- The event gates will open at 10:30 am. Our site is located on a main road that cannot be blocked, therefore no entry or queue will be allowed before 10:30 am.
- The warehouse will open at 11 am (for Title I Educators only) and everyone will be escorted in at the same time, so no need to arrive on site particularly early.
- On-site parking is available at no cost.

Important Give-Away Guidelines
- From 11 am until 1 pm, only Title I K-12 educators will be admitted. General admission for all educators will start at 1 pm.
- REGISTRATION: On arrival, Check In at the Registration Table to have your institutional ID or a certification letter checked. You will also receive a Registration/Donation Acceptance Form that will need to be completed before leaving the event.
- Please bring your own boxes, containers, and bags for collecting and packing items. We have a limited number of rolling carts you can use while browsing, but feel free to bring your own.
- This is a Sharing Economy event, so please limit the number of any specific items you gather to what you really need, in order to give others the opportunity to receive some as well.
- On your Acceptance form, write down a list of items you have picked up, as well as their estimated value.
- CHECKOUT: Fully complete your form then return it to the Checkout Desk
