Remain competitive in the era of rapid innovation
About this Event

We’re living through the fastest wave of technological change yet. From the early internet, to the rise of mobile and social, to today’s explosion of AI and automation, each wave has demanded a rethink of how we work, learn, and lead. But this wave is different: it’s exponential, it’s agentic, and it’s re-wiring not just businesses, but the shape of individual careers.

So how do you stay competitive when the ground is constantly shifting? How do you reinvent yourself not once, but continuously? And how do you do that in a way that creates purpose and opportunity, not just anxiety?

Episode 1: Personal Reinvention - will bring together leading thinkers and practitioners in our BIMA community to explore:

  • What’s unique about the AI wave – and what history can teach us from earlier waves of disruption
  • The skills and mindsets individuals need to thrive: curiosity, creativity, collaboration, and adaptability
  • How to think like a “company of one” – managing your own talent, growth, and portfolio of opportunities
  • The rise of fractional and fluid work models – and what this means for careers in agencies and beyond
  • Why uniquely human capabilities (intuition, imagination, persuasion, empathy) are more valuable than ever

Format:

  • Opening keynotes & lightning talks – cross-sector perspectives from consultancies, agencies, and brands
  • Hack workshop – small teams tackle “reinvention challenges,” share back ideas, and build collective insight
  • Networking – connect with peers and future collaborators
