An event by BIMA for people at the start of their career in digital.
About this Event

Gen Z Unfiltered is a three-part series focused on the myths and lived realities surrounding Gen Z in today's work environment. Set against the backdrop of our post-COVID landscape, the series explores how younger professionals are navigating shifting expectations, evolving technologies, and changing definitions of success at work.

Through roundtable discussions, panels, and workshops, we aim to spotlights Gen Z voices while bringing them into conversation with C-suite executives and talent leaders to explore how businesses can engage, support, and invest in the workforce of the future.

For our second session, as AI rapidly reshapes the workplace, what does the new face of competition look like for Gen Z? Join recruiters, talent leaders, and Gen Z professionals to explore how AI is impacting everything from internships to long-term careers. We’ll unpack fairness, advocacy, and the urgent need to future-proof young talent, while challenging businesses to rethink how they hire, support, and invest in the next generation.

After their talks, you'll have the chance to ask your own questions, and join in a collective conversation about how we can change the narrative and create a more inclusive future of work.

Abigail Tittley, Senior Recruitment Consultant, Sanderson Recruitment

I’m Abigail Tittley, a Senior Recruitment Consultant at Sanderson recruitment, specialising in connecting brilliant Software Engineering professionals with opportunities where they can grow and thrive. I believe recruitment should be about people, not just placements, thus spend my time understanding what matters most to candidates and clients so that everyone feels supported and set up for success.

Before moving into recruitment, I worked in mental health care, supporting children, young people, and adults through life’s challenges, supporting them with their mental health needs and to learn how to navigate the world day-by-day. That experience shaped the way I approach my work today, with empathy, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping others reach their potential.

In 2024, I launched Sanderson’s Women in Tech initiative to amplify underrepresented voices in technology and challenge bias in hiring. What began as a LinkedIn interview series has grown to a company-wide platform, with live events and panel discussions designed to inspire change and foster inclusion across the industry.

I’m passionate about giving Gen Z a voice, exploring how AI and technology can support (rather than replace) human connection, and helping organisations build inclusive, future-ready workplaces where everyone can thrive.
