Formed in 1988, The Stormbeats quickly became a celebrated live act, winning Manchester Band of the Year on several occasions. Their journey took a remarkable turn when they were invited to perform at a Billy Fury charity night hosted by Albert Wycherley, Billy’s brother. That connection led to years of backing Albert at shows nationwide and becoming a cornerstone of official Billy Fury tribute weekends in Blackpool, Southport and Liverpool.
Now, that journey continues at the Cavern Club.
