About this Event

-----

Join us for early evening field trip benefiting Billion Oyster Project, a nonprofit dedicated to restoring oyster reefs to New York Harbor.

You will travel via ferry to Governors Island where we will meet Billion Oyster Project's CEO, Pete Malinowski, at the restaurant and bar Six Coasts.

The best oysters are fresh oysters. We guarantee these will be the best oysters of your life. At sunset. On an island most of you haven't been to before. Learning about local ecology and an optimistic future for New Yorkers. What an adventure.

Tickets start at $85. All proceeds will be donated to the Billion Oyster Project.

There's a lot of tech in oysters. Read more about the intertwining roles of oysters, humans, and cities: https://ambrook.com/offrange/environment/the-new-shell-collectors

This event is a part of #NYTechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
