Join us for a Bike Week Family Fun Day, delivered in partnership with Sligo County Council, Cycling Ireland and SSRP. It is a great opportunity for families to get active, build confidence on bikes, and enjoy a relaxed day outdoors together.
This event is suitable for all ages and abilities, whether you're new to cycling or looking to improve your skills in a fun and supportive environment.
What to expect:
- Skills & drills sessions and fun cycling games
- Bike maintenance workshops and safety talks
- Bike decorating station
- Ice cream van on site
Important Information:
- This is a family event – parents/guardians must remain on site and are responsible for their children at all times
- All activities will be supervised by qualified coaches and volunteers
- Participants should bring their own bikes where possible
- A limited number of bikes will be available to borrow for games and activities
Safety:
- Helmets must be worn at all times while cycling (for both children and adults)
- All bikes must be roadworthy with working brakes
