Bike Tour: The Green Book and Columbia's African American History

Hop on your bike and join City preservation staff on a bike tour through time as we discuss the importance of Columbia’s historic African American resources. The tour will include a look at the Green Book sites that were safe havens for travelling African Americans during the Jim Crow era.

This bike tour was originally held in May 2024. This year's tour will feature many of the same sites from the original tour with the addition of a building tour and a slight modification to the tour route.
