Big Wednesday returns during a lively week in downtown New Bern as musicians gather for an afternoon acoustic jam inside the shop.As downtown New Bern welcomes visitors for the NC Main Street Conference, we’ll have the doors open, music playing, and the shop in full swing — just a small glimpse of the local community that makes this place special.
This is a community-driven session built around shared music and musicians enjoying the experience of playing together.
To keep the rhythm moving:
• We go around in turns, and whoever’s up picks the song
• Don’t know one? Feel free to sit a round out and jump back in when you’re ready
• This is a collaborative jam session rather than a teaching workshop
Whether you stop in to play or simply enjoy the sound of live music while exploring downtown, you’re welcome to pull up a chair and stay awhile.
