Big People Talking: Real Conversations for Grown Folks
Join us at the African Heritage Alliance for an honest, open and unfiltered evening of conversation. This is a space where real topics are explored without judgement, from love and relationships to sex, intimacy and menopause.
We’ll be opening the evening with Shelly Barton, Sexual Health Nurse and Menopause Champion, who will give a short, powerful overview of the real impact of menopause on women, not just clinically, but in everyday life, relationships and emotional wellbeing.
From there, we move into real talk, discussion, shared experiences, and perspectives from the room.
What we’ll cover:
- Love & communication
- Sex, intimacy & desire
- Menopause and its impact on relationships
- Navigating change - individually and together
This event is for everyone, whether you’re single, married, dating, figuring things out, men, women, all are welcome. If you’ve ever had questions, confusion, curiosity or just want to listen and learn, this space is for you.
Expect a relaxed atmosphere with bar, food and music to keep the vibe right.
