It's been a tradition to have bicycles lead the carnival for many years. So as of last year I took over the reins to keep it going.Now I am currently making a new tall bike for this year's carnival (with a couple of extras if I have time). Now you can ride anything you want to ride. As long as it promotes cycling.
The theme for this year's carnival is “Unity in Masquerade, Many Stories, One Parade”gugrsy . So if you want to dress up or decorate your bicycle, then your more than welcome.
Suitable for all ages.
We can meet at the Umbrella Bicycle Recycle Center at 1.30PM. The carnival Starts at 2PM and tends to last till 4.30pm. Make sure you bring drinks, as if it's a hot day, you will need them.
I must say in advance to obey the event organisers. So that we can get invited back and the event on the day will go to plan. This includes, the carnival organisers, security and lorry drivers.
At the end of the event, you can enjoy what the carnival has to offer at the Racecourse. Has wonderful food and music. So you can party into the night.
