About this Event
As we step into the 18th year of our Durga Puja, it’s mandatory that we look back and observe many obstacles we have overcome, how we have managed funds, and how we keep organizing the biggest event in our Bengali Culture, mostly how we have become a big joint family. For us, people of BIC, the walls of MM Thompson Room has become the bamboo pandal, the drawings and stuffs made by our decoration team have became the chandelier of Naktala Udayan Sangha, the YouTube Red “dhaak” music has became our real dhaki, sometimes a little snow didn’t stop us to believe that we are enjoying the Sarotkal, like Apu-Durga, we are also chasing though the kaashful and trying to soak up every bit of it. Such power holds this event, such is the power of Maa Durga! অশুভ শক্তির বিনাস, triumph over evil, she make us believe in ourselves, the truth and strength. Every year we bid our Maa Durga farewell with the hope that she’ll bring new virtue within us and she’ll visit us next year.
