Kirtan is a traditional Indian practice of call-and-response mantra chanting. It is a joyful expression of Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of devotion, and it is one of the easiest ways to open your heart and feel your love connection to all of everything! Bhakti Bliss Kirtan has a unique style which transports you to a deep devotional place in your heart, while also inspiring you to get up and dance and express your joy and bliss for life! Each band member brings their unique artistry to the group, creating a multi-dimensional sound experience. The combined vibrations lift you up and help you attune to your own inner resonance, as well as connect with the frequencies of the Divine. Audience participation is encouraged! Cheryl Chaffee is the group's founder- she has been leading kirtan and yoga at yoga studios, churches, temples, community centers and sacred spaces around the world since 2009, including festivals such as the Rasa Lila Fest, the Tampa Indian Music Festival, Aqueous Festival, Wonderfruit, Lovelight Festivals, Shakti Rising Goddess Festival, Sangha Fest, and Zen Awakening Festival.
