Students Interested in Radiology Training (SIRT) interest group at UWASS is thrilled to host this 2026 event, giving students the chance to hear directly from radiology registrars and specialists about their career journeys. Our speakers will discuss why they chose radiology, how the training pathway works in Australia, and practical ways medical students and junior doctors can begin strengthening their CVs early in their careers 📚.
We will also explore the wide range of radiology subspecialties, with insights from clinicians working across diagnostic imaging and related fields, offering a closer look at the diverse opportunities within the specialty 🧠🖥️.
Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity to connect with fellow students and chat with our guest speakers, including senior clinicians involved in radiology training. It’s a great chance to ask questions, learn more about the specialty, and meet others who share an interest in radiology.
This event is aimed at ALL medical students from UWA, Curtin, and Notre Dame. Be sure to secure your ticket early before places fill up! 🏃♂️
