Parent to Parent is inviting you to the Beyond School Workshop! Designed for whānau caring for a disabled child aged 14 years and older, this workshop focuses on preparing for life after school. A time of uncertainty, change, and exciting possibilities.Part 1: We’ll explore legal rights, funding, and key systems. The aim is to provide a clear and practical overview and a strong foundation for your family as you transition out of the school environment.
Part 2: There will be time to hear from a range of organisations that offer support and to chat with other parents, to help you reflect on and plan next steps and build your vision for the future.
Parent to Parent’s Jane Ford and Kathleen Sanft will be hosting this event.
