Join us for "Beyond Our Senses: Bank Swallows" on Thursday, May 14 from 6:30-8 p.m. at the SC Johnson Golden Rondelle Theater. This special event is a private screening of the documentary "Beyond Our Senses: Bank Swallows", presented as part of an SC Johnson Community Interest Program.Following the screening, guests are invited to a Q&A with producer/director David Busse, who will share deeper insights into the film, the bank swallows, and the filmmaking journey. Each spring, thousands of bank swallows return to the Lake Michigan bluffs to build colonies, mate, and raise their young, navigating predators and environmental challenges in a hidden world beyond human perception.
The documentary explores the intersection of life and perceptions, offering a story‑driven look at these remarkable birds and the ecosystems they depend on. This engaging evening brings together film, science, and storytelling for an unforgettable experience at the Golden Rondelle Theater.
