About this Event
We want to understand how structures of power, including structures that we in Ward 11 help uphold, are making life less just, fair, and safe for our neighbors everyday.
We want to leverage the the lessons we have learned in the past months to reimagine a world built on care, compassion, and public safety rather than incarceration, family separation, policing, and state violence.
This event will feature speakers from the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee (MIRAC).
Ward Eleven Allied Voices for Equity (WEAVE) hosts quarterly teach-ins to support hyperlocal political engagement and action. While these are open to all, they are intended for Ward 11 residents and include ample time for discussions and connections with neighbors.
Space is limited. Please register ahead of time, and cancel your registration if your plans change.
