About this Event
🌈 What we’re doing
This summit brings educators together to move beyond surface-level ideas of inclusion and dig into what it really takes to support LGBTQ+ youth in today’s school climate. Through reflection, conversation, and shared strategy, participants will explore how to respond thoughtfully to censorship, public backlash, religious and cultural concerns, and growing resistance to practices promoting queer belonging and visibility in schools.
👥 Who should attend
This event is for educators, school staff, counselors, administrators, and youth-supporting professionals who want to strengthen how they show up for LGBTQ+ students. It is especially relevant for those navigating pressure from schools, parents, or public discourse while still trying to create affirming and supportive learning environments.
💡 Why it matters
Educators are being asked to care for LGBTQ+ youth in increasingly difficult conditions, where fear, isolation, and anticipatory compliance can make meaningful action feel risky or impossible. This summit matters because students need adults who are not silent, not reactive, and not working alone. It creates space to name what is happening, build courage collectively, and stay grounded in the work of protecting and affirming LGBTQ+ youth.
🏳️⚧️ Who is behind the event

✨ What participants will gain
Participants will leave with a stronger understanding of the challenges shaping school environments, practical ways to respond with care and clarity, and a sense of shared solidarity with others doing this work. The summit is designed to help educators feel less alone, more prepared, and more connected to collective strategies for supporting LGBTQ+ youth.
