About this Event
We are thrilled to invite you to a unique event designed for PhD and Postdoc researchers who are curious about what comes next beyond academia—and how to successfully make that transition into industry, startups, or other non-academic careers.
This format may also be suitable for master's students who are nearing the end of their studies.
The event will bring inspiring stories from researchers and professors who have taken bold steps to build a career outside academia, be it in industry or launching their own startups. They will share insights in the form of short talks and engaging workshops about their journeys—the challenges, the turning points, and the lessons learned along the way.
Beyond the talks, you will take part in interactive small-group discussions focused on unlocking the value of your academic experience.Together with invited speakers, you will explore how your academic skills can open doors to roles such as AI Engineer, Software Developer, Product Owner, Product Manager, Data Scientists, Research Engineers etc. and how to confidently translate these skills in interviews and networking situations.
This event will provide you an opportunity for open conversations, brain-storming, exploring new perspectives and exchange of ideas with like minded individuals and a space to build collaborative network.
You can find the full program below.
