About this Event
Between Places: A Mindful Art Exploration of Memory and Belonging
This guided, art-therapy-informed group workshop offers a space for reflection, expression, and connection through simple art-making.
Open to everyone, the session invites participants to explore themes of memory, identity, and belonging in a gentle and personal way—no artistic experience is needed.
The workshop includes a brief grounding exercise, a guided creative process using accessible materials, and optional group sharing. The focus is not on the final artwork, but on the experience of creating and what emerges through it.
This is not a therapy session, but a structured, facilitated space that supports emotional awareness and personal expression within an intimate group setting.
All materials are provided.
About the host
Aida is a Lisbon-based clinical psychologist trained in art therapy. Her work sits at the intersection of psychology, mindful art practices, and group facilitation, creating structured spaces that support reflection and emotional awareness.
Her approach integrates mindfulness, the creative process, and group dynamics to offer participants a contained space for exploration—without pressure to perform, share, or produce “good” art.
Originally from Lebanon, she engages with themes of identity and belonging, often resonating with individuals navigating life between cultures or contexts.
*Our restaurant will be open, so you’re welcome to enjoy dinner before or after the workshop.
