Bestie Quest: For Women To Make New Friends

This isn’t about dating—it’s about connection. Join us for a speed-dating–style afternoon designed to spark genuine friendships with other women in Western North Carolina. Expect laughter, meaningful conversations, and a few new contacts you’ll be excited to text the next day.

Whether you’re new to town, looking to expand your circle, or just want to meet other down-to-earth women, this event is for you. All female-identifying persons are invited- we're not setting an age limit this time around.

We’re excited to host this event at The Mule, an inclusive and welcoming spot that’s generously providing us the space at a low cost. To support the venue, we encourage each guest to purchase at least one drink during the event.

The Mule will feature a mocktail & cocktail special for the evening, making it easy for everyone—whether you enjoy a drink or prefer a sober option—to feel included and comfortable.

A quick note on seating: The space doesn’t have a ton of small two-seat tables, so we’ll be creative with the arrangements. We appreciate your open-mindedness and flexibility—it’s all about having fun and connecting with new people!

Stage 1: Registration
When you arrive, we'll provide you with a match card, nametag, and a pen. When everyone is registered, we'll gather everyone together for a rundown of how the event works as well as provide you with a quick vibe-check to make sure you're comfortable and in the right mindset to make new friends.

Stage 2: Speed-Friendship Rounds
Meet a new person every five minutes in a fun, structured setup. No pressure, no awkward small talk—just genuine conversations with other women who are also looking to make connections. There will be a short intermission halfway through to grab a drink or stretch your legs.

Stage 3: Mixer & Mingling

There will be plenty of women you won't be able to connect with during the 5 minute rounds so stick around after for the casual mixer! Keep chatting with people you clicked with, grab a drink, and enjoy the energy of a room full of new friends in the making. We'll contact you the next day with your matches but of course you can feel free to exchange contact information during the mixer.
