Berlin Books: An evening with Curious Fox and Berlin - A Literary Guide for Travellers"Berlin - A Literary Guide for Travellers" is a unique and engaging book that functions as an introduction to some of the finest writing in and about the German capital, as well as a guide to some of its best sights and vibrant neighbourhoods. Hoffmann, Joseph Roth, Jörg Fauser, and Christa Wolf, as well as a slew of famous international names such as Mark Twain, Philip Hensher and Chloe Aridjis.
The book, which Harry Strawson in The Times Literary Supplement called "a book to take out walking - just as a guidebook should be", is now available in paperback, which authors Paul Sullivan and Marcel Krueger will celebrate with a small event at one of Berlin's best English-language bookshops, the wonderful Curious Fox on Lausitzer Platz. There will be refreshments available and Marcel will chat with writer, translator and ExBerliner books editor Alex Wells about their favourite Berlin books and aspects of the inspiration the German capital keeps offering to writers to this day.
