✨ Annual fundraising tour:Bergmannkiez Walking Tour ✨
Discover Kreuzberg’s more refined side in the charming Bergmannkiez. Once home to Prussian military barracks, it’s now a neighborhood of leafy streets, colorful 19th-century houses, and hidden courtyards. We’ll stroll through Victoria Park to learn how Kreuzberg got its name, revisit a Cold War political kidnapping, and explore the origins of Berlin’s most iconic street foods: currywurst and döner. The route winds along vibrant Bergmannstraße with its boutiques, cafés, concept stores, and the historic Marheineke Market Hall.
