About this Event

P&T Knitwear is pleased to welcome Benoit Denizet-Lewis to celebrate and discuss his new book , a timely, provocative, and deeply moving exploration of personal transformation in a period of roiling uncertainty.

Benoit will be joined in conversation by Wesley Morris. Along with a discussion and audience Q&A, Benoit will also sign copies of his book.


Both tickets and books are available on eventbrite and at the door. Doors open at 6:30pm with the talk starting closer to 7pm.


ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Benoit Denizet-Lewis is an associate professor at Emerson College and a longtime contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine. He has written three previous books, including America Anonymous and the New York Times bestseller Travels With Casey. A New America Fellow and NEH Public Scholar, he divides his time between Boston and Prague.

ABOUT THE MODERATOR
Wesley Morris is a critic at large for The New York Times. He is also the host of "Cannonball," a weekly culture show from The New York Times. He won the 2021 Pulitzer Prize for Criticism for a set of searing essays that explored the intersection of race and pop culture with insight, acuity and urgency. He was also awarded the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Criticism for his work at The Boston Globe and, while at Grantland, was a National Magazine Award finalist for Columns and Commentary in 2015. He hosted the 'Still Processing' podcast alongside J Wortham from 2016 to 2022.

  • Doors open at 6:30pm, with the talk starting around 7:00pm.
  • Books will be available for purchase at the event.
