About this Event
The Belonging Resident Company is a performance ensemble dedicated to making the revolution of belonging irresistible. We activate radical imagination through engaged facilitation, contemporary and hip hop dance, dance/theater, and playback theater to foster embodied experiences of belonging and dismantle systems of oppression.
This event is a FREE, informal studio showing. You will see work-in-progress dance/theater pieces that will be part of a full show premiering in the fall called We Keep Us. The show will explore care, community and safety beyond systems of harm. You will also experience the magic of playback theater where you will have the opportunity to tell stories about the show themes and witness the performers create improvisational scenes representing those stories.
