Featuring Marjan Neshat, Ava Yaghmaie, Ariana Mahallati, Ari Derambakhsh, Ava Lalezarzadeh, & Arash DeMaxi, with stage direction by Bahman Kalbasi.
Belly Dancing Lessons follows a group of high school students in 1980s Iran who start a belly dancing studio in the basement of a bakery.
TICKETS:
- Free of charge ($20 Suggested Donation)
100% of ticket proceeds directly support human rights advocacy in Iran. We will be accepting donations at the event as well.
Preshow cocktails: 7:00pm
Reading: 7:30pm
Approximate run time: 100 minutes
After party: 10pm-12am, DJ set by Sohrob.

Through rigorous documentation, amplification of victims’ stories, public education, and the promotion of human rights principles, the Center works to preserve historical truth, challenge impunity, and help cultivate a culture grounded in accountability, justice, and respect for fundamental rights.
